I had Vijay from Australia visiting Finland. He has started driving rally in the later days. He wanted to improve his basics driving skills before starting to learn the same with a rallycar. We drove 3 days in Juha Kankkunen Driving academy.
It normally takes me 1 max 2 days to get the drivers to learn and understand the basics of how to drive fast, correct and so that the car is doing the work for you😃. This time it took 1.5 days and it was great to see how the joy came to Vijays driving when he started to understand what he needed to do and when. Now the base of driving is strong and we can build on that. This will happen in Australia in April with 3 days coaching camp. Any interested drivers can contact me directly.
This is something everyone should do. Are you a rallydriver or not, improve your basic driving and understand what the cars are doing. It’s really important for sudden things that might happen in day to day driving. Is it to avoid an obstacle or animal and so on. Also these are practiced in Kankkunen academy. It’s the best investment you can di for your own and families life.
Next trip will be to mexico on early March. Driving with Ricardo and Charlie for 2/3 days. I have been there 2times and really looking forward to this camp with good friends. Ricardo is driving a citroen rally2 and Charlie a Skoda R5.
